Additionally, all researchers are encouraged to think about how they can promote a healthy environment for their research team, regardless of whether they conduct their research in office, lab, field, or online environment. Best practices suggest that researchers should be proactive in planning for a healthy environment, and in communicating their commitment to a healthy environment.
WVU SAI Training
WVU RCR offers seminars, roundtables, and consultations to help researchers promote healthy environments for their research teams.
WVU encourages all research personnel to be proactive in matters related to healthy environments. WVU does not require SAI plans except as mandate by federal funding agencies. Currently, the NSF and NIH have SAI-related planning, communication, and reporting requirements.
